When player has Attribute Modifiers of maxHealth of -20 or less (20 is the player default health) and this item is wearable, and the KeepInventory gamerule is on, after you get hurt and die in 1 hit. you cant to respawn.
every time you click the respawn its doing none and you cant do commands to clear the items from yourself.
