The scroll wheel no longer works as a method to switch items in your hot-bar into your hand. Number keys 1-9 have to be used instead. Pressing directly down on the scroll wheel no longer works as a method to select the block you are looking at in creative. Instead, a key rebind is necessary.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Open Minecraft Launcher
2. Change version to Minecraft 1.9 or above (pre-release(s))
3. Open Options Menu by pushing Esc
4. Click Controls and set "Pick Block" to "Button 3" (Scroll Wheel)
5. Open a creative world
6. Look at any block and push "Button 3" (Scroll Wheel)
OR
6. Scroll the scroll wheel to change the item you are holding
Expected Results:
When Scroll Wheel is pressed when looking at a block, the particular block should be added to your hot-bar
When scroll wheel used to change item you are holding, the specific hot-bar slot should change depending on the direction you rotate the wheel
Actual Results:
When Scroll Wheel is pressed - nothing happens or selected item in hot-bar is destroyed. This also happens in survival with players who have OP.
When Scroll Wheel is used to change current item held - nothing.
Fixes:
In order to fix "Pick Block" bug, change key binding in "Controls" from "Button 3" to any other available key (ex. Right Control / RCONTROL)
In order to fix changing hand item bug, simply use number keys 1-9 instead.
