On the latest launcher 2.1.5965 the launcher will open but says no connection.
I am using Ubuntu 16.04. I know the launcher i was using before this worked just fine, is there a way i can get the older minecraft launcher? I don't know how to get a log for a launcher on ubuntu.

I know that the old launcher before this worked on my school network and that minecraft is accepted at school. I also tried it on another network connection and it didn't make a difference.
If This could be resolved or a can have a backup version of the launcher that would be great.
