Since this evening I can't get my launcher to start on my PC . I've tried the following things:

1. Re-install the game, it won't get further than updating.
2. Opened the game as adminstrator.
3. Changed the compatability to Windows XP Service Pack 3, that did work, but I couldn't get the latest version to work.
4. Changed the compatibility to Windows 8, didn't work.
5. Re-booted my PC with the re-installed game.
6. Downloaded the .msi and .exe installer, both didn't work when installed (while the other one was deleted)
7. Tried to change the channel to release; it was already on release instead of beta.
8. Searched the internet and Mojang bug forum.
