What I expected to happen was...:
Open the launcher, and allow it to do whatever it is to do. (I am unfamiliar with this launcher) Then navigate to game menu.
What actually happened was...:
After a minute or so of running code in the JRE Client, and filling a progress bar at the bottom, another Minecraft window with a funny icon I have never seen before popped up, then i got this message in the client;

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Download the new MinecraftDev launcher
2. Log in
3. Wait... and wait
4. Be saddened when it does not work
