the launcher says it will update next time i open it but it doesn't(my launcher says it version 2.1.14948)

      (my launcher says this is the version 2.1.14948) i start it it says "Launcher update: A new version of the Launcher will be automatically installed the next time tha launcher starts" but it does not update
