Summary: clicking on minecraft icon to boot up minecraft first opens mojang studios page (red) then flickers between black and red (no logo) over and over.  Does not move past this point, no error log displayed.   please also see MCPE-102530 Can't open the game, red screen keeps flashing - Jira (mojang.com).

I have looked around to see if there is a fix, this appears to be a fairly common problem this month but as yet no one has provided a fix that i can see.  I am not technical and as such I would like assistance in a fix providing.  this game is my autistic sons only release at present, he is 10, please help.
