Lately, I have been having an issue within the Minecraft.net site where selecting another language (e.g. English) will simply redirect you to the site's home page in the set language but won't forget the previous language that was mistakenly set (e.g. Chinese) when clicking on another page.

As a parity issue, this is also a problem with the new Windows Launcher since its displayed article links would redirect users to the retained language of a Minecraft.net page (in my case: Chinese) which differed to the language set within the Windows launcher (e.g. English).
