(For reference, I have contacted Minecraft support about this who instructed me to make this bug report)
Since upgrading my potato laptop to a new gaming PC (with added m.2 storage) that can actually play Minecraft and other games, I've noticed on the Minecraft Launcher that I cannot install Minecraft For Windows or Minecraft Dungeons (and presumably Minecraft Legends as well, though I haven't bought it yet) to my 2TB D: drive (m.2 nvme) or other drives on my PC. It does not give me the option to change to D: drive (which all my other games are stored) or a different drive and has my C: drive (my PC's boot drive) as the only option available. I've heard on Google and forums that you can go to the "profiles directory", but there is no such option on the launcher itself. If it is a file in .minecraft or another folder that needs editing, I'm a novice at that sort of stuff and might mess something up.
Also, I currently have my Minecraft Java installed on my C: Drive and want to transfer it to the same D: drive (without losing progress). Does anyone know how? As mentioned above, I've contacted Minecraft support about this who instructed me to send it all as a bug report.
Screenshots are available for reference. Hoping someone can help, thanks in advance
