After not having played Minecraft in a while, I decided to play. I was going from Minecraft 1.7.5 to 1.7.9. It was taking forever to download, and the green bar was stuck on about 97%, so I decided to close the launcher and reopen. The same thing happened. I closed and reopened the launcher, and tried to play on 14w17a. The exact same thing happened! I, once again, closed and reopened the launcher. I decided to give up, and got on the internet. All of a sudden, Minecraft 1.7.9 opens! Out of nowhere! The launcher wasn't even open. So, I decided to just close it, and continued browsing the web. It happened again twice, with the final third one being 14w17a.
