Receive Java(TM) Platform SE binary not responding when trying to run 1.8.9 on Minecraft. I have completely uninstalled Java and Minecraft and reinstalled with the same error. After clicking the launcher, and then clicking play 1.8.9, the launcher disappears and the white screen with the word MOJANG screen comes up. It has sat there for up to hours before I closed it down. Recognizing there are multiple problems similar to this and being told that the devs are working on it, but haven't seen an update or recommendations in a week or two. Appreciate your help with this.
