everytime i try to launch any version of the game the launbcher near instantly crashes and the normal windows "it crashed" popup box thing gives this propblem signature:

this is me trying to launch 1.9,it happens when trying to launch and download any other version with no difference

i don't know what's happening, but help would be appriciated

Minor edit: linux version is unaffected, and you can upgrade to the windows launcher through it so it can be a workaround for this bug, but this still needs fixing properly instead of requiring you to upgrade through the older .jar launcher
