When I found out that this command existed I was very happy that I would be able to have more than 8 players in the game.
But, the /setmaxplayers command in Bedrock 1.16 for PS4 does not work correctly.
I was trying to host a UHC with 9 players. But when the 9th player tried to join the game, it kept coming up with a connection error. I even got another player to see if they could join, but they still got the same error. This must mean even when the "/setmaxplayers 10" is used, it shows 10 players can join in the menu's, but only 8 can actually play. I spent half an hour trying to fix the issue (delaying the game we were wanting to get started with) by resetting my PS4, (as said previously) using a different account, sending invites instead of joining through the "friends" tab and by increasing the /setmaxplayers to 30. This all made no difference so it ruined the game for the 9th player not being able to play at all.
Please can you look into this as it's very frustrating as having a command that should allow more players to join (which would be amazing) but with it not working, what's the point?
I'm unsure whether this is just a PS4 issue because of the whole server's not yet available, but it would be great to have it sorted for my future games as 8 players gets abit boring.
Cheers, Luke
