I found 2 odd mob behaviors tonight on the beta.  A villager was sleeping on the rug next to his bed.  The wake button was present.  He woke on his own when I tapped the bed, and I slept.

Second a cow spawned about 100 blocks away from the village in the desert.  No grass of any sort was visible where it spawned
