This happens on both Windows 10 PC and Xbox.  (Husband is playing on the Xbox, and I am on the PC in the same room. so we can see it happen on each others devices.)

When blocks are mined they drop and stutter or shake before we can pick them up. Villagers are laying on the floor, in between walls and now floating away. When fighting mobs there is a lag before they take damage. Eating plays the sound and shows the movement but lags before removing food from inventory. Generally a movement and performance lag all around. the games were fine Monday the 16th. problems started after the update on Tuesday the 17th.
