you have recently fixed the dog permanently sitting glitch but since that point the game now just freezes randomly and sometimes closes completely. sometimes i can just wait for a few seconds and it starts going again. other times it takes longer and if it doesn't close itself i have to 'alt control delete' to get task manager up so i can get to my desktop. i have tried reducing the distance rendered and turned off animated water and skies to see if that helped but it does it just as much either way. it was working fine before you fixed the dogs glitch (thank you for that btw nice job) so it seems to have come from the last update.
