Bought a map on the Minecraft marketplace (Xbox One) and the map consistently crashes at the beginning when players have to interact with a villager, even when placed on a realm (actually crashes the realm, players have to wait for the realm to reboot).
Mojang refund policy ( https://help.minecraft.net/hc/en-us/articles/360030463592-Mojang-refunds-policy ) says to contact Xbox One support here: ( https://support.xbox.com/en-US/contact-us )
I did so, and was advised to contact Mojang support.
In June, MCPE-84286 was filed.
That person was advised it was already tracking in MCPE-57377 which is about "updating downloads on Windows 10" - not the issue with this map on Xbox and other platforms.
In July, MCPE-92046 was filed.
That person was told their complaint was invalid and they should take it up with the map creator. How can the map creator issue a refund?
Two days ago, MCPE-108102 was filed.
That person received a form-letter response that the crashes are logged automatically. There is no recourse offered for a refund.
These kids need to be offered a refund or Mojang needs to pull the unplayable map from the store until it is fixed by GoE-Craft - this issue deserves attention.
