      steps to reproduce: 

      1. create a world (survival , CHEATS=OFF)
      2. explore the world (to increase the world size)
      3. save the world.(restart MC=optional)
      4. check the world size.(mine 14.4MB)
      5. change gamemode to creative,but do not accept it.
      6. check again the world size.(mine 13.4MB)

      These "extra data" are needed?

      case YES: why delete them?
