I have a controller issue regarding setting up key bindings. I have 2 specific buttons MCPE won't recognize. According to the hardware diagram, it's buttons A and B. I reported it on 0.12, but I submitted it during the 0.13 betas, which I opted of. It didn't get fixed. I can provide more info about my controller, if needed.
