Nintendo Switch
In minecraft, when I am killed or I die my respawn point is in a weird darkness. It takes a few minutes to fix and is really annoying as there is very little visibility, (though the light level is still at 11) it is really annoying when I am playing competetive minecraft.
Steps To Reproduce:
1. Create a new survival world on bedrock Nintendo switch.
2. Join another player on splitscreen.
3. Build a basic house with literally just a torch and bed.
4. Set your respawn point.
5. Walk in any direction for 100 blocks.
6. Ask the other player to kill you.
Expected Results:
When you respawn you will not see any darkness and can play normally.
Observed Results:
When the other player kills me I respawn in my house but it is completely dark. Though the torch is still burning.
