My stuff in my inventory keeps disappearing when i log in my world

      I logged into my world and all my stuff was gone from my inventory i didn't die whilst i left the world but my stuff in the chest was fine it has happened a few times now. I dont have any friends on the world and it's single player survival. I have tired logging back in the world but my stuff is still gone.
