when in a single pixel tall water layer everything turns black

its not a big deal since you almost never see single layers of water.

How to recreate: 

Step 1 : build the contraption at the bottom and put water in the dispenser. (this creates the water)

Step 2 :  stand under the water layers and everything should go dark.
