if you create a clock using a sticky piston or two pistons to repeatedly push a hive, all bees within the hive's radius will become confused and rotate in place, if a player enters the radius, all bees will now target that player. the anger state is being tripped every tick, so bees cannot sting until the player has left the hive's radius or the hive stops being pushed. behavior around this is inconsistent between game loads as far as i can tell, with bees being unaffected by the moving hive, or completely spazzing out. Bees act consistently, but behavior still seems unintended. inconsistency apparently comes from number of bees currently inside the hive, as hives moving fast enough wont let bees enter but remain the most available being empty. a full hive will still cause angering in survival but no longer breaks bee AI of bees who do not belong to that hive
holding a flower supersedes the piston pushed hive's influence
placing of additional hives nearby also seems to undermine the influence of the piston pushed hive, or at least lets bees assigned to other hives function as normal.
Testing in the latest version shows that bees are more resistant to spazzing out, but that the buggy behavior remains.
