PlayStation
I was done school and looking to relax, so I fired up Minecraft. As I was building, a power outage occurred instantly shutting off my PS4 for a couple of seconds. After the small power outage stopped, I went back to Minecraft and tried to join my world again, only to find a screen made in the PS4 itself saying something around "This Saved Data is corrupted, we will delete the corrupted data." It gave me the option between "Cancel" and "Ok". I hit Ok because I thought it would take me back to the last place I saved before the power outage, but man, I was WRONG. IT COMPLETELY DELETED MY WORLD!!! I had spent FOREVER building that world up with my friends. I found that it was completely removed from my PS4, and I had no way now of bringing it back. When I made another world, after a few minutes another small power outage occurred. The same thing happened but this time I hit cancel, which did nothing because when I tried to join the new world right after the cancel, it still gave me the "Cancel" and "Ok" choice. I hit ok again, and you guessed it, it deleted my world.
I suggest that to fix this, make Minecraft do as I suspected at first, "I hit Ok because I thought it would take me back to the last place I saved before the power outage."
If Minecraft is to fix this, they may save countless other worlds from eternal death.
