I am a big fan of the /give command. Let me start off by saying that I know that when you use ‘/give @p planks’, you have to put a number after it in order to indicate what type you want. For instance, /give @p planks 1 2 would be birch planks. The first number is how many you want, the second number is what type. I have gone through every number until it gives me plain oak planks and there is no spruce wood. I think it goes up to five, which I believe is either dark oak or acacia until it gives you oak from any number beyond that. This is also true of the /fill command, and others like it. You can input any number but it won’t give you spruce planks, though it will give you every other plank type. Thank you- I hope this is detailed enough.
