My Minecraft crashed when I tried to close the chest in multiplayer game!

I was trying to keep al my stuff inside a chest when I joined my friend's world.
When I tried to close the chest one time, I didn't get out of the chest. Instead, the close button appears again. When I tapped on it, it crashed
