This has been happening for a while, but nether portals dont allow you to go through and the game crashes. I have 4 linking portals in the current world and when trying to step through animation works but no loading screen and crashes the game. I picked up my items because I died in the nether and they dropped outside into the overworld ( through the portal) picked them up and tried to re-enter the nether, game crashed and logged back in with no items on me and no items on the floor. Meaning they no longer exist and this is very infuriating considering it was survival and not the first world this has happened on.
