every time i try to make a test flower farm on a flat world, the moment that the dispenser fires out  the bonemeal minecraft crashes. 

and yes i have tried it on several different computers and they all crashed

how to reproduce

1 go onto a flat world.

2 dig 1 block down and place a dispenser facing anywhere but up or down

3 fill the dispenser with bonemeal 

4 activate it

5 get really annoyed with the result
