In Caves and Cliffs Experimental Versions, waterlogging Dripstones will make the water much brighter. (The more Dripstones, the more brightness.) I haven't tested it in 1.17, only experimental Caves and Cliffs. It's not that big but i think worth mentioning. Sorry for the bad quality of the photo my screenshot key combination doesn't works.
