I just downloaded Minecraft onto my Switch tonight,

and created a new world. None of the animals I kill (chicken, pig, sheep, cow) will drop meat or any other items. I've tried with bare hands, holding wood blocks, with wooden weapons, and stone weapons. None will drop anything.
