After the 1.17.30 update was released, the recipe book no longer reloads recipes without manual input. This causes available recipes to be hidden until the player reselects the crafting category or exits and re-enters the menu. The bug can be easily reproduced by crafting an item that leads to a new recipe, and putting it in your inventory.
