Summary: I was testing the brand new 1.19 sculk stuffs and decided to hook the sculk catalyst to a portal based gold farm to get the sculk vegetation. Then after building one portal (max sized), lighting and breaking multiple times didn't spawn in zombie pigmen for some reason. I created a world tested WITHOUT THE VANILLA EXPERIMENTAL TOGGLE and it works properly.
How To Reproduce:
1- Build a gold farm in a regular 1.18 world.
2- Check if it working and spawning in pigmens.
3- Once done checking, enable Vanilla Experimental Toggle and test that same gold farm.
Observed Results:
The pigmen didn't spawn/very few amount compared to 1.18 or without the Vanilla Experimental Toggle On.
Expected Results:
It should work properly.
*Workaround*
I found that adding more max sized portals did spawn in more pigmen, but still you can see a noticable different compared to 1.18 or without the Vanilla Experimental Toggle On. And adding more portals is not feasible because, it will bring down performance and more chances for the game to crash and the world to corrupt.
I have a gold farm world download which was build in 1.17
You can test it in 1.18 and see the difference with Vanilla Experimental Toggle and Without!
