I was playing on my phone on a flat world and made a villager breeder using carrots. I put the 2 villagers in my farm gave them beds and a composter for a workstation. they both turned into farmers. after planting some carrots I threw them some carrots and they would not pick them up. I also threw them bread and they didn't pick that up either. so I went on my PC and opened a flat world to test if it was just on my phone and got the same results. If they aren't picking up the carrots or bread I cant get them to breed. 

Has something changed in the way villagers breed?
