Summary
It appears there are several issues with boats. Not only is there a chance you'll sail across an ocean and get out your boat just to have it teleport right back to where you entered the boat but it appears that when using a boat, shortly after exiting the boat the game appears to crash. Not sure if there is a memory leak or just a bug?

Steps to reproduce

1. Open a 1.18.0 survival Minecraft world
2. Craft a boat and use it for a period of time
3. Exit the boat (sometimes the boat teleports away)
4. If not 3, then the game will shortly crash.

Expected outcomes

• The boat should remain where you exit the boat.
• The game should remain the same and not crash.

Actual outcomes

• The boat has a chance to teleport back to its starting position.
• The game eventually will crash upon exiting.
