So, I have an issue where, the next time I opened Minecraft 1.18.2, it says that I have to move my worlds into the new directory as given here:
Android > data > .com.mojang.minecraftpe > files > games > com.mojang > minecraftWorlds.
After I confirmed the process to be done, it just wipes every world I had created...
The problem is that, that doesn't make sense at all, Mojang.
We know that, in Minecraft 1.18.2, the world's file directory has been migrated to a new location, which is said from above this description. Once a new world is created on Minecraft 1.18.2, the world's folder is already in the new directory. Why did Minecraft want me to move the world files to the new location, despite the fact that the world's files are in the new location?? Is this an issue, or am I doing something wrong?
Steps on how to reproduce:
1. Create a new world on Minecraft 1.18.2 (release, not beta). Create more than one world if necessary.
2. Play in that world till the file size increases.
3. Wait till a day or two later.
4. Reopen Minecraft.
Expected results:
- The message saying that you have to move the world files to the new storage location wouldn't appear, as the world files are already in the new storage location.
- The world files for the world you created should still be in the new storage location.
Instead:
- The message does appear and casually Thanos Snaps the heck out of the world files from the new storage location once you confirm the process.
