Every time I go through my nether portals, they take long to teleport me to the other side, and sometimes even freezes the loading screen completely. As you can hear in the video, there is a strange fast noise playing. (This noise can be explained by me using the ice boat highway for about a 1000 blocks before hopping out and entering the portal) I don't know why exactly nether portals take so long to load terrain. I am a sitting duck for a fatal attack on the other side of the portal, because the world has to simulate for a bit.
