I received an update last night and now I can no longer smelt ores in the furnace or blast furnace. I am playing in my own world and have no modifications other than replacing my skin which is from the Star Wars Solo series (it was one of the free ones).

When creating this bug report it only allows me the option of selecting the affected version of 1.19.20 however mine shows to be 1.19.10003.70. I checked for any updates but none were available.

When I put fuel in the furnace to smelt an ore it does nothing but works fine with food. I checked ores in the furnace as well as blast furnace and nothing happens. See screenshot below.
