Tilled soil stopped absorbing water.  Certain crops do not produce such as melons and pumpkins.  This worked previously, but has stopped within the last 2 month.  This issue appears to only affect ONE of my worlds.  I don't know how to recreate the issue in a new world.  In new worlds the irrigation and crop production works as designed.
I have performed the all of, but not limited to, the following tasks to try to identify/correct the issue. (not necessarily in order)
      Restarted the Switch.
      Re-downloaded/installed the game
      Scanned the game/data for corruption.
Copied the world.  Irrigation didn't work in the copy of the world.
Destroyed the soil and water blocks and replaced them with "fresh" tilled soil and water.
Created a new world.  Irrigation works in all new worlds created so far.
Changed biomes. Tried to create farms far away from original location to rule out any proximity issues.
It is important to note that the farm irrigation on this world worked previously and stopped working without changing the layout of the fields.
Any suggestions on how to further troubleshoot and/or fix the issue?
