The last week or so, my fiance and I have been playing on a new minecraft world on my realm. We found a village with villagers in it, destroyed the beds to confine and individually link each villager to a bed, one that is near them and confirmed to have linked. After the most recent launcher update, none of the villagers operate correctly.
I made a fairly standard diamond shaped potato farm, one that I've made in at least 7 worlds before this one. The issue started this morning with the farmer villager breaking potatoes but not picking them up and not throwing them across a hopper minecart to the confined villager...the core mechanic of the farm. After breaking all of the potatoes, collecting them myself, and the villager re-planting the potatoes that they had in their inventory, the issue seemed to be resolved. Some time later, the same farmer villager, whom I traded with to lock in their profession, decided to not only link to a different bed roughly 80 blocks away instead of the bed inside the farm they were linked to, but also change his profession to a cartographer while there are no cartography tables placed anywhere in the village.
Within an hour of finding out that this had happened, my fiance noticed that all of the beds in the village were sparkling, the icon meaning that a villager has linked to them. None of the villagers are retaining their beds or their workstations anymore, some 3 hours after having first discovered the farmer villager had somehow changed their profession to one that is completely unavailable to begin with.
