      Summary

I have made a machine to duplicate sand in v1.19.51. However, I found that the machine couldn’t work after I updated to v1.19.60. And my friend told me that the machine can’t work in v1.19.70.20 either. I don’t know what’s wrong with it.

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Create a new world in v1.19.70.20.

      2. Enter the End and kill the ender dragon.

      3. Go through the end gateway and you are teleported.

      4. Add a tickingarea.

      5. Go back to the central island and make the machine like the video.

      6. Turn on the machine, then you can see the purple beam. It seems that the sand has been teleported.

      7. Turn off the machine and go through the end gateway.

      Observed Results

      You can’t find any sand.

      Expected Results

You can find a lot of items (or pick up the sand).

      Notes

I test this in v1.19.70.22, it doesn’t work either, so I don’t record video in v1.19.70.22.

All of us know, TNT can be duplicated in Java Edition. Mojang once tried to fix it, but just because of one player community vote, the bug is fixed as “Won’t fix”. However, in Bedrock Edition, now we can’t duplicate the sand, the TNT, the rail, the carpet and so on. ALL of these can be duplicated in Java Edition whether in the past, now or in the future. Mojang is trying to narrow the difference between the two versions, but in fact, we do not require all of the above to be done. Why can't we legally own some of them?

If you think Bedrock Edition's sand-replicating machine is a cheating bug, are some of the redstone gameplay in Java Edition cheating? Isn't this a kind of suppression to Bedrock's survival mechanical suit? Isn't it an unfair behavior?

But why can players use the end portal to duplicate the sand in Java Edition? I find over 50 machines to duplicate the sand in Java Edition. So I don’t agree with you in any way. And how can we get a lot of sands and gravels to craft concrete powder? Could you give me the answer?

Here is one of the machines I have found: https://youtu.be/VUoEOTuiRfQ

Duplication glitches like this are generally considered cheating in Survival mode and are often fixed in updates.
