I play on this very laggy Minecraft server. I have an efficiency V pickaxe and it mines blocks like stone really fast. Sometimes it does little things where it knows that I broke the block, but the server is laggy so it tries to render it, leaving me with an X-ray sort of thing. The block only thing about the block is that it doesn’t show the blocks behind it and that’s why it Xrays. Sometimes I can see things like caves and stuff, nothing like ores or anything because it doesn’t render those either cause they’re behind the ghost block. It shows you fake ores like diamonds or emeralds, and when you mine to them they don’t exist.

The first time I encountered it, it was a big wall of diamonds. It was 1 block tall and about 10 blocks wide in each direction. I was playing with my friend at the time so I told him. When we mined down to see if it was real, it obviously wasn’t but it instead led us into a cave. No diamonds.

this has worked in the over world and nether, but not the end because it has no ores. With the nether it just shows things like ancient debris or quartz. In the overworld, it works everywhere. Sometimes it’s a wall. Sometimes it’s a vein. Sometimes it’s when you’re mining and when you mine the block it turns into a fake block. Anyway, it’s not too annoying, but I am pretty sure I have missed some netherite bc I thought it was fake.
