When setting the maximum chunk, after a few seconds, the world's chunks start to appear in the sky and ground, becoming black. In short, there is a rendering glitch when the render distance is set to its maximum value. This issue commonly occurs when using a device that may struggle with rendering distant chunks, such as a mobile phone.
Expected Result:
The world should render properly, with chunks loading correctly, even when the render distance is set to its maximum value.
Observed Result:
After setting the maximum chunk distance, the chunks start to appear in abnormal locations, such as in the sky and ground, and they become black, indicating a rendering issue. This problem frequently occurs on devices that may have difficulties rendering distant chunks, particularly mobile phones.
Steps:
1. Launch Minecraft and enter a world.
2. Access the settings and set the render distance to its maximum value.
3. Observe how the chunks start to appear in abnormal locations and become black after a few seconds.
Note:
This issue is more likely to occur on devices with limited rendering capabilities, especially when trying to render distant chunks.
my phone:
Model: Xiaomi Mi 10T
OS Version: Android 12
In version 1.20.30 and above, I've noticed an increase in my phone's temperature when enabling a render distance of 22.
