Recently (I don't know if it was before or after the hotfix update) I've been getting some insane tick lag in the nether. It's gotten to the point where my game is nearly unplayable. What will happen is I'll get tick lag for 5-10 seconds, a couple second pause, then more tick lag for 5-10 seconds. This bug only happens when I go near a lava pool, near my main nether portal. One time, it caused input lag for me and I dropped down straight into lava while flying with my elytras, losing an entire shulker of fireworks, my only elytras, my tridents, and a bunch of other stuff.
