Unsure if this was an intended change, but prior to Trails and Tales update, Fortune enchantments would not multiply exp orbs when mining ore that grants occasional exp.  I.E. Coal, Diamond, Redstone, Emerald, Lapis.  I've seen up to 3 exp orbs drop from a single ore block since the update.  On those instances there is no bonus ore.  Also happens relatively often.  I've mined out 10 block veins getting regular ore drop but increased exp orb drop on over half the blocks.  Bonus ores do still drop, but never in combination with extra exp (that I've seen), however the bonus ore drops are significantly less now due to the bonus exp orbs.  As I said, not sure if this was an intentional change to the enchantment, but the change is noticable.
