The removal of IDs is a huge problem for everyone. This is a major problem for me!! For the last couple of updates, i have been waiting patiently for this to be fixed. I understand that there will be no need for block ID numbers for wool and concrete anymore, but what about the others?

      Point 1:

I can no longer test to see if a lever is flipped without connecting redstone to the lever! I had a bunch of builds where there was a single lever without restone, and it would still activate something because I had a testforblock command running. For example, the command was testforblock ~ ~15 ~ lever 9, to see if it was flipped or not. Same thing with buttons, but now I can no longer do this.

      Point 2:

I can no longer have logs, mushrooms, trapdoors, slabs, or stair blocks placed in a certain direction using commands! Commands for fill and setblock will not work anymore regarding the IDs. I hope you see this bug and fix it soon. We need block IDs
