Around 2021-22 I started to get a 'loading terrain error' problem on PlayStation. I don't know if this problem has been around a lot longer than I've experienced. Though I know for Microsoft devices this mustn't of been a problem - as of playing on Minecraft with an Xbox before.
But basically what happens is that everything in the game freezes. I could be at my village house and all the villagers freeze, other mobs, chests are left open (even if I back out of the inventory). If I drop an item it won't show up on the floor yet, it's even disappeared from my inventory temporarily. Only I can walk about, though I can't operate anything, like opening and closing a door. This has been happening since a little after 2021. I can't really remember when exactly it started.
Also I was flying earlier with the elytra back to my old base. I noticed I couldn't use my fireworks in the air, terrain ahead of me didn't load as well. I landed safely just in case I died. Didn't land on my feet and kept up in a horizontal position as if I'm still flying. I was literally in the blocks slightly. The game automatically corrected after a few seconds and deployed the amount of fireworks I tried to use in the just previously in the air.
I would say this is probably my WiFi connection, but I'm very certain it's the games development from introducing the 'brilliant' idea of the 'all internet' only games. For example I can't play a lot of my video games even if I want to play offline because the game requires internet to access the game. I expect it's the same with Minecraft...so why can't we have the offline option anymore to be in our private world?
