There is no way to use the actual "controller setting" with my controller that is connect to my PC, no matter that I do the game refuses to recognize my controller, I have tried three different softwares including steam and all they do is take over the mouse and keyboard settings which runs into plenty of issues since buttons can only be mapped once. Why bother having controller settings in the setting app when they are unusable? to call Minecraft's controller settings, hard to use, unusable, frustrating, impossible to configure would be putting it kindly. I also think it's worth noting that I have successfully connected my controller to plenty of other games this is a Minecraft specific issue.
