When bridging in minecraft bedrock, you can build easily without having to actually connect the blocks the manual way unlike java edition, but if that's the case for bedrock then why can this only be done when bridging?

      How to reproduce

Start by bridging using any block in minecraft bedrock, you will notice that you can easily place blocks without having to actually connect them unlike java.

Then try to place blocks the same way you place them when bridging, you will notice that you have to actually connect the blocks.

Observation Bridging allows blocks to be placed easily, but only when bridging.
Expectations Since bridging allows players to place blocks mid air without having to connect them, same should be done for when you're stacking them on top of each other and etc.
