When connecting to a server which is extremely slow (or offline) you often find yourself stuck at a screen with no text and just the classic background dirt texture with no way to escape (unless you leave it for a minute in which case it times out and you can return to title screen).

We need to see what is happening, it doesn't even say 'locating server' or whatever it's supposed to, it'll just show nothing and give you no way to back out.

Also, not sure why but we're noticing players getting stuck on 'Building Terrain' infrequently (the server continues sending them packets as if they were online, but the player does not get past the screen, also, the player continues to send ping packets). Debugging this issue has been hell this evening. It's infrequent and we see little cause for it. Any chance you could give us some idea behind that?
