The mentioned text color– which previously used to work just fine on console– no longer displays as a custom hue and instead defaults to plain white text as if not inputted. In the files below are presented the demonstration of it, along how the color is supposed to look from a screenshot of the windows edition for comparison purposes.

      Steps to reproduce:

      1. Open any chat box, it being either the global chat or an item's name on the anvil
      2. Type in the box the text "§gtesting" and look at the results.

      Expected results:

The text should change color to a bright orange hue, different from its other variants.

      Actual results:

The text does not display any color whatsoever, and thus it does not work as intended.

As a content creator, this frustates me the most since it goes to ruin the overall esthetic of my projects for the vast majority of the playerbase. Hopefulu this gets patched soon; it is not the first time this discontinuity of colors between the two versions has happened, but if i recall correctly, the previous ones have been patched. No idea why this is happening to begin with.
